Our Story

SCAJ London was founded on love, with the devotion of a mother at its very core. The brand began with Opulence, our first massage oil and the product from which everything else flowed. Following the founder’s mother suffering a stroke, extensive research into essential oils led to the creation of a bespoke oil designed to support circulation and bring comfort through touch. The purpose was twofold. The oil offered care and calm for the founder’s mother, while also creating a moment of peace for both mother and daughter. From this deeply personal experience, Opulence was born and it remains the signature oil at the heart of our range today. A close friend of the founder tried it, loved it, and encouraged the expansion of the range. From there, SCAJ London developed organically.

Repurposed & Reimagined One limb of our fashion house focuses on the repurposing of pre-loved garments, often brought to us by clients. Many people own beautiful items. Dresses worn once, garments that no longer feel aligned, or pieces that simply sit unworn.

At SCAJ London, these garments are reimagined and transformed into bespoke, wearable works of art. Items do not need to carry sentimental value, they simply need potential. This process gives new life to previously loved pieces, offering an ethical and environmentally considered approach to fashion. New and Custom Created Alongside this, SCAJ London also designs and customises brand new garments and footwear, sourced directly by us. These pieces are then transformed using a range of materials, techniques, and design elements to create limited edition or one of one designs.
